Emilie Pechadre’s love for interior design began with her grandparents, who ran an antique store and a tapestry-decoration workshop in Auvergne, France. Immersed in the daily life where her grandfather sketched his designs before restoring the furniture, while her grandmother made the curtains and cushions she was surrounded by legendary interior design brands La Maison Pierre Frey, Manuel Canovas, Houlès. Becoming not only educated about quality, longevity and unique french style, but colors, patterns, and textures, her interior design experience grew.
After 10 years as a management consultant in Paris, Emilie followed her passion and graduated from School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) with a Certificate in Interior Design.
A chance opportunity to move the family to Georgia was taken and after successfully running her interior design business in Paris, opened EP Interior Design in Atlanta (Alpharetta) where she designs from large-scale residential interior remodels to new construction interior design for commercial spaces, offering E-design services for her clients in France.
Emilie’s unique background conveys a distinct awareness of project management and budgets for architecture and construction, the longevity or premium furnishings, and the unique objects that become the treasures in a family’s story.
